Students at Glenrosa Elementary School will have the opportunityto see four SD 23 organized cultural events in our school gymnasium.

November 2nd @ 8:45 AM PROJECT SOUL - THE ROUTES
Using themes of transportation, these talented individuals take the audience on a journey as they tell inspiring stories of how hip hop culture has helped each of them define who they are.
November 28th @ 10:00 AM TINY ISLANDS, Jazzology
There’s no more exciting way to introduce kids to a variety of musical instruments than through the upbeat, can’t-sit-still jazz of the 1920s and 1930s. Kids will be engaged with irresistible tunes by jazz greats like Louis Armstrong, Cab Calloway and Fats Waller.
MARCH 4th @ 10:00 am Dufflebag Theatre - Interactive Fairy Tales
Featuring refreshing adaptations of classic fairy tales, audience members are invited into the show to play the main parts!
The resulting excitement and spontaneity creates hilarity for all and forms a perfect introduction to the classics.
May 6th - 8:45 am AXE CAPOEIRA - Viva Brazil
Featuring traditional Brazilian music, this performance showcases professional capoeiristas and dancers at the height of their skill. With exciting choreographed dances, internationally acclaimed capoeira, high-flying acrobatics, invigorating music and dazzling costumes, the group enthralls audiences across the globe.
